Our Lady of La Salette Charm Bracelet

Consecration to Our Lady of La Salette

Most Holy Mother, Our Lady of La Salette,
who for love of me shed such bitter tears
in Your merciful apparition,
look down with kindness upon me,
as I consecrate myself to You without reserve.
From this day, my glory shall be to know
that I am Your child.
May I so live as to dry Your tears
and console Your afflicted heart.
Beloved Mother, to You
and to Your blessed charge and sacred keeping
and into the bosom of Your mercy,
for this day and for every day,
and for the hour of my death
I commend myself, body and soul,
every hope and every joy,
every trouble and every sorrow,
my life and my life's end

The Gift of Love

If I decorate my house perfectly with plaid bows, strands of twinkling lights and shiny balls, but do not show love to my family, I’m just another decorator.

If I slave away in the kitchen, baking dozens of Christmas cookies, preparing gourmet meals and arranging a beautifully adorned table at mealtime, but do not show love to my family, I’m just another cook.

If I work at the soup kitchen, carol in the nursing home and give all that I have to charity, but do not show love to my family, it profits me nothing.

If I trim the spruce with shimmering angels and crocheted snowflakes, attend a myriad of holiday parties and sing in the choir’s cantata but do not focus on Christ, I have missed the point.

Love stops the cooking to hug the child. Love sets aside the decorating to kiss the husband. Love is kind, though harried and tired. Love doesn’t envy another’s home that has coordinated Christmas china and table linens.

Love doesn’t yell at the kids to get out of the way, but is thankful they are there to be in the way. Love doesn’t give only to those who are able to give in return but rejoices in giving to those who can’t.

Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails. Video games will break, pearl necklaces will be lost, golf clubs will rust, but giving the gift of love will endure.

Merry Christmas and lots of love to you and yours!

Holy Child of Atocha Religious Medals Charm Bracelet

History of El Santo Nino de Atocha (The Holy Child of Atocha)

The devotion to El Santo Nino de Atocha originated in Spain. Its origin may be related to Our Lady of Atocha, in Madrid, Spain, who is mentioned in the "Cantigas" of King Alphonse the Wise in the 13th century. During medieval times, the Moors held large areas and battles between the Christians and Moors were commonplace. The Moors invaded the town of Atocha. Following a certain battle, the victorious Moors held a great many Christians captive, and prevented the adult villagers from visiting as well as bringing the prisoners food or water. Fearing for the lives of the prisoners, their families stormed heaven with prayers for relief. One day, a child appeared, dressed as a pilgrim of that period, carrying a basket of food and a gourd of water. The Moors allowed the child to bring food and water each day. The prisoners were fed, but the basket and gourd remained full. The child was not known to the Christians nor to the Moors, so the people concluded that the child Jesus.
In artwork, the Holy Child often wears a brimmed hat with a plume and a cloak or cape ornate with the St. James shell. (During the Crusades, scallop shells were the symbol of holy pilgrimages and one European variety is still referred to as "the pilgrim" or "St. James' shell." Poets have written about their beauty and artists have admired their symmetry and grace.) In his left hand, He carries a pilgrim's staff to the gourd of water is fastened, a pair of shackles, and a few spears of wheat. In his right hand, He holds a basket which generally contains bread or flowers. He either wears sandals or is barefoot. The Child is said to roam the hills and valleys, particularly at night, bringing aid and comfort to the needy, and thereby wearing out his shoes. He is usually shown seated.
The original statue of the Holy Child of Atocha was imported from Spain and now resides in the little town of Fresnillo, Mexico. El Santo Nino de Atocha is the patron saint of those unjustly imprisoned. He also protects travelers and rescues people in danger.

I just love this medal with the image of The Holy Child of Atocha, is so beautiful and unique.  It just brings me comfort.

This bracelet makes honor to the Holy Child of Atocha using other Catholic medals as well including Our Lady of Guadalupe, St. Therese, Our Lady of San Juan de los Lagos, Archanagel St. Gabriel, Our Lady of Sorrows, St. Benedict, St. Michael and St. Anthony.

I used beautiful handcrafted Peruvian beads and handcrafted as well vintage black clay bird beads making it very unique.

"Majestic" Virgin Mary and Baby Jesus Catholic Cameo Religious Necklace

I called this beautiful necklace "Majestic" making honor to Our Blessed Mother and Baby Jesus giving splendor to Their Majesty
This beautiful cameo embellished with many vintage and new rhinestones, pearls and other embellishments like a vintage flower pendant.

Daily, daily sing to Mary, sing my soul Her praises due;
All Her feasts, Her actions worship, with the heart's devotion true.
Lost in wondering contemplation, be Her majesty confessed.
Call Her Mother, call Her Virgin, happy Mother, Virgin blest!

She is mighty to deliver; call Her, trust Her lovingly;
When the tempest rages round thee, She will calm the troubled sea.
Gifts of Heaven She has given, noble Lady! to our race;
She, the Queen, who decks Her subjects with the light of God's own grace.

Sing my tongue, the Virgin's trophies, who for us our Maker bore;
For the curse of old inflicted, peace and blessing to restore.
Sing in songs of praise unending, Sing the world's Majestic Queen!
Weary not, nor faint in telling all the gifts She gives to men.

All our joys do fall from Mary; all then join Her praise to sing:
Trembling sing the Virgin Mother, Mother of Our Lord and King.
While we sing Her awesome glory, far above our fancy's reach,
Let our hearts be quick to offer love alone the heart can teach.

Our Lady of Guadalupe Feast Day December 12

O Virgin of Guadalupe,
Mother of the Americas,
grant to our homes the grace of loving
and respecting life in its beginnings,
with the same love with which
You conceived in Your womb
the life of the Son of God.
Blessed Virgin Mary,
Mother of Fair Love,
protect our families so that
they may always be united
and bless the upbringing of our children.

Our hope, look upon us with pity,
teach us to go continually to Jesus,
and if we fall
help us to rise again and return to Him
through the confession of our faults
and our sins in the Sacrament of penance,
which gives peace to the soul.

We beg You to grant us a great love
of all the holy Sacraments,
which are, as it were,
the signs that Your Son left us on earth.
Thus, Most Holy Mother,
with the peace of God in our consciences,
with our hearts free from evil and hatred,
we will be able to bring to all others
true joy and peace,
which come to us from Your Son,
our Lord Jesus Christ,
who with the Father and the Holy Spirit,
lives and reigns for ever and ever.

Amen
(Pope John Paul II.)

St. Michael and Archangels Charm Bracelet

I was inspired today to create a statement bracelet making it unique and bold and I had saved that gorgeous sword for a long time until I would find the right time or piece that I needed to add it to and today, out of the blue, I was so inspired to take it and use it with this stunning as well cross depicting St. Michael and angels.
It gave me a bit of difficulty adding it to the bracelet to make it safe, even though, is not sharp, but wanted to be cautious with it and I just love the end result.

Bold and powerful like St. Michael and that sword truly makes a statement.

Blessings St. Michael

"Holy Nativity" Catholic Cameo, Saints, Religious Medals Charm Bracelet

Nativity Prayer

Let the just rejoice,
for their justifier is born.
Let the sick and infirm rejoice,
For their Saviour is born.
Let the captives rejoice,
For their Redeemer is born.
Let slaves rejoice,
for their Master is born.
Let free men rejoice,
For their Liberator is born.
Let All Christians rejoice,
For Jesus Christ is born.

St. Augustine of Hippo

I had been saving this special vintage cameo for a very long time until I was inspired to create with it and it came today specially now that the season to celebrate Our Lord's birth I created this beautiful bracelet with a rose representing "The Christmas Rose" an offering to the Baby Jesus

(When the Magi laid their rich offerings of myrrh, frankincense, and gold, by the bed of the sleeping Christ Child, legend says that a shepherd maiden stood outside the door quietly weeping. She, too, had sought the Christ Child. She, too, desired to bring him gifts. But she had nothing to offer, for she was very poor indeed.
In vain she had searched the countryside over for one little flower to bring Him, but she could find neither bloom nor leaf, for the winter had been cold. And as she stood there weeping, an angel passing saw her sorrow, and stooping he brushed aside the snow at her feet. And there sprang up on the spot a cluster of beautiful winter roses, -- waxen white with pink tipped petals. "Nor myrrh, nor frankincense, nor gold,'' said the angel, "is offering more meet for the Christ Child than these pure Christmas Roses.'' Joyfully the shepherd maiden gathered the flowers and made her offering to the Holy Child)

May this rose be a reminder of our offerings to Our Precious Baby Jesus

My Roses from St. Therese

For a very long time I have been wanting to experience St. Therese's roses to come to me unexpected and feel the joy that I hear many people experience.

Last year a wonderful woman sent me a couple of rose petals that were touched to St. Therese's Relics and in the process of my rearranging my room I could not find those precious rose petals and I was devastating about it and never to be found.

I kept praying to St. Therese and to please grant me that privileged to experience once again the honor of having roses from her.  I want my creations to be close or touched by them to help others.

As time passed I continued with my search and to no avail, not able to find them.  I finally gave up the search.

On Friday, September 24, 2011 I went to pick up my mail and when I opened my box, there was this beautiful scent coming from inside my mailbox and when I picked up my mail, there was an envelope that caught my attention and I could feel something very special inside and the scent was so beautiful and my heart began pounding, very excited knowing something Holy or special was in that envelope.

When I read the name from it was from I was very pleasantly surprised coming from Dyan, a special lady I met through my ebay store and thinking she might of sent me a medal, which sometimes I have received medals or prayer cards from very special wonderful people I meet in my store.

When I opened the envelope, I just could not believe that inside were rose petals touched to St. Therese's relics in Ireland, I was just overwhelmed with joy and it took me a while to really realize what I had in my possession, something so Special and meaningful.  I cannot thank enough St. Therese to express her love to me and use Dyan to send me the rose petals.

She stated she had them for several years and one day suddenly she felt that she needed to send them to me.

I feel so Blessed

In the Midst of Trials and Despair

Today I have been inspired to write about my own experiences in the Midst of Trials and Despair in my own personal life, no, I won't go back so many years, but I do have to say have not been easy years since way back when, but I have overcome so many obstacles, trials and despair in my way through life.

I have to admit that my family and myself have not been exempt of what is going on with the economy and it seems the more I hear and read about I felt I needed to share.  We have too been affected by this turmoil in the economy, my husband almost losing his job and his hours cut down drastically, meaning income cut drastically like many people around the world and not just USA and in the midst of all this, yes, I have to admit, I felt discouraged and afraid like every human and I would question when will all this end?

When we fall in a comfort zone of everything being fine in our world, does not mean well in the rest of the world but our own immediate world, we tend to realize that we have a perfect life, good jobs, nice home, nice car, we must have the latest technology, the newest trends in clothing, shoes, what our children want, immediate gratification and when that world shifts around us and all the turmoil takes over, we feel lost and afraid and I'm no exception, I too, felt afraid and discouraged that the more I prayed, the more I felt attacked in turmoil, it may have been my own fears or from other around me, but I was very afraid but never lost my faith, I knew God is not the one causing this, He does not send us trials like we sometimes believe, I realized that there is so much negative energy shifting around us that is so dense that God's Blessings cannot get to us, or we are sometimes we are so consumed by our negative thoughts that we cannot see or even have the energy to pray, please don't fall into those fears, God and Our Blessed Mother are in the midst of those Trials and Despairs, They will pull you out of your Despair and desperation.

Don't cease to pray, pray the Rosary, even if you don't have the energy at that moment, take a couple of deep breaths and change your thoughts to a more positive thinking.

If you can imagine yourself being in the presence of the Most High and Our Blessed Mother, feel Their Essence,  just keep breathing like in meditation and the more you do this, your mind will start to clear and your body relax.  What I do and this has helped me tremendously to keep at peace, is light incense, I prefer the handcrafted ones, like Frankincense, Myrrh, I found one that is Queen of Heaven and is delightful, Gardenia or any other pleasant scents that will soothe you, listen to soothing praise music, like Gregorian Chants or any other Spiritual music and light a candle and in your moment of Their presence, just praise for the things you have, give Thanks for the good things and bless everyone that has cursed you or wished you wrong, send them God's and Blessed Mother's Love, I know it's not easy sometimes, but it will help, specially your Boss or people that are in your life, Bless the place you work in and the people around you.  If you don't have a job or lost one, still bless the place and bless the new job coming to you.  Bless your home with God's and Blessed Mother's Love. What I do is at least once a week I bless it with Holy Water and sometimes I do burn incense and go throughout the home Blessing it and praising God for it and all the negative energies in your home will flee, they don't like Love, they enjoy turmoil and the more turmoil, the more will come, so send Love to your surroundings even your backyard and you will start noticing changes in your life, specially your health.  Just say "I Bless this house with God's and Our Blessed Mother's Love, Love will reside in this home and may His angels dwell to protect us and bring His Blessings"

Don't be discourage, it shall pass, also bless our President and all in charge of this country, they do need blessings and not curses.

May Our Lord's and Blessed Mother's Love keep you safe and Blessed

"Mother's Sorrows" Catholic Medals Charm Bracelet

Prayer to Our Lady of Sorrows, by St. Bridget

O Blessed Virgin Mary, Immaculate Mother of God, who didst endure a martyrdom of love and grief beholding the sufferings and sorrows of Jesus! Thou didst cooperate in the benefit of my redemption by thine innumerable afflictions and by offering to the Eternal Father His only begotten Son as a holocaust and victim of propitiation for my sins. I thank thee for the unspeakable love which led thee to deprive thyself of the Fruit of thy womb, Jesus, true God and true Man, to save me, a sinner. Oh, make use of the unfailing intercession of thy sorrows with the Father and the Son, that I may steadfastly amend my life and never again crucify my loving Redeemer by new sins, and that, persevering till death in His grace. I may obtain eternal life through the merits of His Cross and Passion. Amen.
Mother of love, of sorrow and of mercy, pray for us.

Another inspired creation by the Sorrows of Our Most Loving Blessed Mother with Her Sorrow and Love always embraces in our own sorrows and pains.

I created this bracelet as that reminder that she will always embrace us in our sorrows and I included a picture frame charm if a picture of a loved one wants to be added.

I added several Catholic medals including Archangel St. Michael, St. Benedict, St. Therese and others.

I also used vintage white beads and adorned cameo with beautiful clear aurora borealis Czech. rhinestones

"A King is Born" Virgin Mary & Baby Jesus Religious Cameo Catholic Necklace

The inspiration came once again to create another embellished necklace with so much added including vintage and new embellishments.

I used a beautiful porcelain cameo of Baby Jesus with Our Blessed Mother and it's just perfect as the time of year is approaching where we will be celebrating His Birthday "A King is Born"

I used a vintage metal flower, vintage pearls and rhinestones as well as other beautiful embellishments.  I also used vintage and new lace
