Love Creating Shrines

For the past few years I was inspired to create small shrines to give honor to all that is Divine, Our Lord, Blessed Mother, Angels and Saints and love creating them.

Recently I created some new designs, besides the locket shrines I created, I also created some that are visible, the pocket statues are inside a glass dome, which I also include a piece of broken rosaries inside.

I love antique rosaries and when I am able to create a piece using broken rosaries, I create with the utmost respect and use them to give them a new life and they carry the love and prayers of the previous owners and that is why I love to add them to my creations

Here are my newest creations.  In one as I was taking a picture before finishing the necklace, the St. Therese Shrine, I noticed in the picture some sort of reflection on top of the glass and continued to take pictures but, what I thought it was reflections, appears to be some sort of mist, which is not the first time I create a piece honoring St. Therese that a mist appears.   Upon closer look at the picture and enhancing it, I was able to see some faces, some appear to be Saints, one in particular is Blessed Francis Xavier Seelos, which I happen to have a piece of cloth touched to his relic and I also touch my jewelry to his relic.  I will include a picture on the bottom.

The first pictures are of the finished necklaces now available in my Etsy store https://www.etsy.com/shop/angelostreasures

This last picture of the Shrine Dome of St. Therese before creating the necklace, where the mist appears in all of the images and next is a picture of Blessed Francis Xavier Seelos, which I believe appears in the mist, next to St. Therese's face of pocket statue.

My Newest Creations

My newest creations on Necklaces now available in my store, now I am listing only at Angelo's Treasures. These are unique creations I always create with the utmost respect and love to express our faith and devotion. https://www.etsy.com/shop/angelostreasures

When, with a heavy heart decided to close Lety's Creations and not create anymore I had a dream that I was being taken for a ride, I could not see the driver, I just know I was inside a vehicle and I was the passenger and was shown some place, which was very beautiful full of light and were many beautiful homes all with gardens and when we passed by one that had many plants in the garden and several large beautiful statues of Our Blessed Mother, Jesus and Saints I gasped and said "that is my house" is not my real home, then I looked closely and saw the plants were sad, wilted and the statue of Our Blessed Mother was kind of leaning over, like falling and the other statues too and I became sad and I heard a voice telling me they need me to care for them and to continue to water the plants so She can be happy and to continue to care for this garden so She can come alive once again.

I take this dreams means, I need to continue to care for Our Blessed Mother's Garden, which several years ago, I heard this "In the garden of my soul there is a beautiful Rose whose name is Mary" and I have used it in my some of my pages, so I shall continue to take care of Her garden to flourish in people's hearts through my creations and prayers.
I still get teary eyed sharing my dream.

Newest Creations

I had been inspired to create rustic style jewelry using lead-free solder and it has been a challenge learning the process but I love the end result and it is an amazing experience.

While I'm creating one of these pieces, I get lost in time with each piece and I really don't have a plan or a design in mind when I begin each piece, I just start with the basic solder and it just flows and I am always in awe at the end result, like my hands are just guided and everything falls into place.

Here are just few of the latest creations

Vintage and New Catholic Holy Child of Atocha, Saints Religious Medals Bracelet

Photobucket
History of El Santo Nino de Atocha (The Holy Child of Atocha)

The devotion to El Santo Nino de Atocha originated in Spain. Its origin may be related to Our Lady of Atocha, in Madrid, Spain, who is mentioned in the "Cantigas" of King Alphonse the Wise in the 13th century. During medieval times, the Moors held large areas and battles between the Christians and Moors were commonplace. The Moors invaded the town of Atocha. Following a certain battle, the victorious Moors held a great many Christians captive, and prevented the adult villagers from visiting as well as bringing the prisoners food or water. Fearing for the lives of the prisoners, their families stormed heaven with prayers for relief. One day, a child appeared, dressed as a pilgrim of that period, carrying a basket of food and a gourd of water. The Moors allowed the child to bring food and water each day. The prisoners were fed, but the basket and gourd remained full. The child was not known to the Christians nor to the Moors, so the people concluded that the child Jesus.

In artwork, the Holy Child often wears a brimmed hat with a plume and a cloak or cape ornate with the St. James shell. (During the Crusades, scallop shells were the symbol of holy pilgrimages and one European variety is still referred to as "the pilgrim" or "St. James' shell." Poets have written about their beauty and artists have admired their symmetry and grace.) In his left hand, He carries a pilgrim's staff to the gourd of water is fastened, a pair of shackles, and a few spears of wheat. In his right hand, He holds a basket which generally contains bread or flowers. He either wears sandals or is barefoot. The Child is said to roam the hills and valleys, particularly at night, bringing aid and comfort to the needy, and thereby wearing out his shoes. He is usually shown seated.

The original statue of the Holy Child of Atocha was imported from Spain and now resides in the little town of Fresnillo, Mexico. El Santo Nino de Atocha is the patron saint of those unjustly imprisoned. He also protects travelers and rescues people in danger.

I created this beautiful and unique bracelet honoring Santo Nino de Atocha with a nostalgic feel and look to it using vintage glass pearls and a beautiful and unique wooden pendant with His image and adorned it with vintage and new rhinestones and lace.

I also used vintage and new medals including St. Padre Pio, St. Francis of Assisi, Our Lady of Lourdes, St. Michael, Our Lady of Sorrows with Ecce Homo and others.

I love the outcome of all combined and how the pendant just came together.

St. Padre Pio Relic Religious Medals Handcrafted Bracelet

Prayer to Saint Padre Pio

Beloved Padre Pio, today I add my prayer to the
thousands of prayers offered to you every day by
those who love and venerate you.  They ask for
cures and healings, earthly and spiritual blessings,
and peace for body and mind.   And because of
your friendship with the Lord, He heals those you
ask to be healed and He forgives those you ask to
be forgiven.

Through your visible wounds of the Cross, which
you bore for 50 years, you were chosen in our
time to glorify the crucified Jesus.  As we
lovingly recall the wounds that pierced your
hands, feen and side, we not only remember the
blood you shed in pain, but your smile, and the
invisible halo of sweet-smelling flowers that
surrounded your presence, the perfume of sanctity.

Saint Pio, may the healings of the sick, the
serenity of the troubled, and the loving comfort
received by those in pain and despair be a sure
sign that you continue to intercede for us and our
loved ones before the Lord.

In your kindness, please help me with my own
special request.  (Here state your petition).  Each
and every day, bless me and my loved ones.
Amen

I love the new style of the Third Class Relic medals of St. Padre Pio, that is now encased inside a dome.

On this bracelet I added a beautiful vintage St. Ann Chaplet attached to the bracelet making it more special.

Other Catholic medals I used are Our Lady of Guadalupe with St. Charbel, Our Lady of Miraculous Medal, Divine Mercy, Our Lady of Medjugorje, Our Lady of Fatima and others.

The center piece is a stunning antique piece from a broken bracelet and added a beautiful vintage aluminium medal of Our Lady of Miraculous Medal attached to a brass setting with vintage lace and vintage rhinestones.

I love the golden cameo of Our Blessed Mother complimenting the bracelet with that antique look.

Our Lady of Lourdes Locket Shrine Rosary Religious Necklace

O Holy Virgin,
in the midst of Your days of glory,
do not forget the sorrows of this earth.
Cast a merciful glance upon those who are suffering
 struggling against difficulties,
 with their lips constantly pressed
against life’s bitter cup.
Have pity on those who love each other
 and are separated.
Have pity on our rebellious hearts.
Have pity on our weak faith.
Have pity on those who weep,
on those who pray,
on those who fear.
Grant hope and peace to all.
 Amen.

I created this locket shrine necklace honoring Our Beautiful Lady of Lourdes using a vintage rosary and creating it as a necklace.
Inside locket I added a tiny figural image of Our Lady of Lourdes a vintage crucifix and a beautiful acrylic rose and a beautiful color image of St. Rose of Lima.

Today I had a wonderful experience with my 2 yr old granddaughter. I have a picture of Our Lady of Lourdes in my room and my granddaughter loved it and wanted me to take her to Wal-Mart to buy her one, she thinks Wal-Mart may sell them and I explained to her they don't have them there, she then told me to take her to Target to find one, that just filled me with so much joy that she expressed so much love for Our Lady of Lourdes.

Virgin Mary Catholic Locket Shrine Religious Necklace

I compassionate thee,

O most sorrowful Mother!

Thy heart was pierced

with a sword of grief

when Simeon foretold to thee

in the Temple the ignominious death

and the desolation

of thy Divine and most dear Son,

which thou west destined one day to witness.

By the great anguish of thy suffering heart,

O gracious Queen of the universe,

impress upon my mind,

in life and in death,

the sacred Passion of Jesus

and shine own sorrows.

Amen.

Blessed Mother and Archangels in Jewelry

I have been very inspired to created more earrings honoring Our Blessed Mother in earrings. I know some people can't wear other style of jewelry but they do wear earrings and this is one way they can wear a tangible expression of their faith.

Some are created with gemstones and others with crystals
