I had been inspired to create rustic style jewelry using lead-free solder and it has been a challenge learning the process but I love the end result and it is an amazing experience.

While I'm creating one of these pieces, I get lost in time with each piece and I really don't have a plan or a design in mind when I begin each piece, I just start with the basic solder and it just flows and I am always in awe at the end result, like my hands are just guided and everything falls into place.

Catholic Virgin Mary OL Mr Carmel Catholic Locket Shrine Religious Pendant

I created another one of a kind embellished locket shrine honoring Our Lady of Mt. Carmel.  I truly love creating these embellished altered art lockets.  It takes a lot of time to gather the special pieces that will create each piece and more time to make sure every piece falls into place in harmony to finish one piece and all pieces coincide and appear so beautiful and it's worth the time and the effort for each one being so unique and special.  

I have always been inspired how in Latin American Our Blessed Mother has been adorned with so many beautiful embellishments including lace, crystals and pearls and that was my inspiration for this piece.

I collected several pieces which are vintage including rhinestones and roses and I also added on the back a beautiful vintage sequin lace.

"Majestic" Virgin Mary and Baby Jesus Catholic Cameo Religious Necklace

I called this beautiful necklace "Majestic" making honor to Our Blessed Mother and Baby Jesus giving splendor to Their Majesty

This beautiful cameo embellished with many vintage and new rhinestones, pearls and other embellishments like a vintage flower pendant. 

Daily, daily sing to Mary, sing my soul Her praises due;

All Her feasts, Her actions worship, with the heart's devotion true.

"Sacred Treasures" Catholic Virgin Mary Religious Shell Locket Shrine Necklace

Once in a while I come across a unique find that I love so I can create something so different and unique.  In this case was a beautiful handcrafted natural vintage shell locket which I created a shrine inside.

I was blessed as well to find all the statues and medal to use inside.  I love creating these shrine lockets, it seems like everything just finds it's way inside the locket and makes it easy to create.

On this locket shrine I used a beautiful figural medal of Our Lady of San Juan de los Lagos, Vintage pocket statue of Our Lady of Miraculous Medal and of St. Jude.  I also used a very unique vintage brass vase with flower, misc. vintage and new rhinestones and pearls.

I truly loved creating this one as well and hope is much loved on it's new home. 

Honoring St. Therese

Honoring St. Therese

This week I was inspired by St. Therese creating these beautiful creations using a vintage medal for the bracelet and a beautiful porcelain cameo for the altered art locket shrine necklace.

For this bracelet I used a vintage medal of St. Therese adorned with Czech. rhinestones and a large coral rose.  Other Catholic medals used are Our Lady of Loretto, St. Rita, Our Lady of Mt. Carmel, Sacred Heart of Jesus, Our Lady of Perpetual Help with St. Gerard, Mother Theresa and St. Barbara also using beautiful lampwork glass heart beads. 

For this beautiful locket shrine I used a stunning porcelain cameo adorned with Czech. rhinestones 

Inside locket shrine I used a beautiful image of Madonna and Child, a tiny pewter pocket statue of St. Jude, Vintage medal of Our Lady of Miraculous Medal and vintage rhinestones.

Here is another necklace I created honoring Our Beautiful Lady of Lourdes using a gorgeous porcelain cameo of an image from an antique French Holy Card

Inside I created the shrine honoring Our Lord as a Child and as Our Most Humble and Loving Sacred Heart.

I also added a beautiful tiny medal of Immaculate Heart of Mary and a tiny cross as well as rhinestones, a glass heart and a vintage pearl

Our Lady of Lourdes Locket Shrine Rosary Religious Necklace

O Holy Virgin,  

in the midst of Your days of glory,  

do not forget the sorrows of this earth.  

Cast a merciful glance upon those who are suffering

 struggling against difficulties, 

 with their lips constantly pressed 

against life’s bitter cup.  

Have pity on those who love each other

 and are separated. 

Have pity on our rebellious hearts.

I created this locket shrine necklace honoring Our Beautiful Lady of Lourdes using a vintage rosary and creating it as a necklace.

Inside locket I added a tiny figural image of Our Lady of Lourdes a vintage crucifix and a beautiful acrylic rose and a beautiful color image of St. Rose of Lima.

Today I had a wonderful experience with my 2 yr old granddaughter. I have a picture of Our Lady of Lourdes in my room and my granddaughter loved it and wanted me to take her to Wal-Mart to buy her one, she thinks Wal-Mart may sell them and I explained to her they don't have them there, she then told me to take her to Target to find one, that just filled me with so much joy that she expressed so much love for Our Lady of Lourdes.

This is another locket necklace I was inspired to create honoring Our Most Beautiful Mother Mary using a picture from an antique Holy card transferred onto fabric that gives it a look

and finish of canvas

I used a vintage blue rhinestone brooch to use as a frame and I also used turquoise color Czech. rhinestones, beautiful light blue glass beads and brass color beads.

Inside I added a beautiful color image of Child Jesus from a vintage card, a handpainted vintage pocket statue of Our Lady of Miraculous Medal set on vintage lace and a Fresh Water pearl cross.

Our Lady of Lourdes and St. Jude Locket Shrine Necklace

This is another beautiful and meaningful necklace I created to honor Our Beautiful Lady of Lourdes

This is a bold necklace with a large flower but it does not take away the beauty of the cameo

Inside locket I added a tiny pocket statue of St. Jude, Hail Mary beads and tiny cross and on other side a beautiful image of an Archangel on fabric and vintage rhinestones.

St. Therese Lace Cuff Religious Bracelet

This is another inspired bracelet created with vintage lace honoring Our Beloved St. Therese.

On this bracelet I added vintage black lace, vintage embellishments and various Catholic medals including St. Therese on center adorned with Czech. rhinestones. Medals include Virgin Mary, Our Lady of Grace, St. Rita, Praying Hands, Our Lady of Guadalupe and Jesus and vintage embellishments.

Inside I used beautiful pictures from antique Holy cards. Images transferred onto fabric to give them the feel and look of canvas.

PRAYER TO THE CHILD JESUS

Remember, oh sweetest Child Jesus, that You said to the Venerable Margaret of the Most Blessed Sacrament, and through her, to all Your devotees, these so consoling words for our poor overwhelmed and suffering mankind: "Everything that You want to request, ask for it through the merits of my infancy and nothing will be denied to you". Full of trust in You, oh Jesus! Who are truth itself, I come to present my necessities.

Help me lead an authentic Christian life, to obtain a happy eternity. By the infinite merits of your incarnation and your childhood, grant me the grace that I am requesting of You (here state the requested grace). I commit myself to You, oh Omnipotent Child, confident that You will heed my plea and will fortify me in hope.

This is a unique necklace I created using a vintage broken rosary, vintage pendant and an image of Child Jesus from an antique Holy Card from Holy Card Heaven inside a pocket watch and used vintage and new rhinestones.

I am fascinated with vintage images and have been inspired by creations using such beautiful images that I found myself making one with this beautiful image.

Virgin Mary Locket Shrine Religious Necklace

Vintage and nostalgic jewelry are my favorites. I just love the feel and look of said jewelry and when I feel that special nostalgic feeling I am inspired to create a piece with that essence and look to it.

On this necklace I used a beautiful print on fabric of an antique Holy Card surrounded by a

vintage frame with pearls and adding a special spiritual enhancement, I added a unique

vintage brass cherub to the frame of the picture.

Inside locket you will find special sacred treasures as it is a tiny vintage hand painted pocket

statue of Sacred Heart of Jesus, tiny medal of Our Lady of Guadalupe a vintage rhinestone, glass heart and a beautiful picture of St. Therese in fabric

My Newest Creations

For such a very long time I have been wanting to make creations with beautiful vintage Holy Cards images and I found the most beautiful and inspirational site Holy Card Heaven Holy Card Heaven that I have been blessed that they have granted me permission to use their images for my creations. It is truly Heaven sent.

When I visited Holy Card Heaven site, I felt like I was transported to a very spiritual place and reading all the information they provide, it is just what the soul needs. I highly recommend you visit them.

I want to continue making my creations in honor and glory of Our Lord and Mother Mary and I just love antique cards, there is so much love and devotion in every image and how they convey a spiritual message through their art, it's just amazing and I wanted to capture that as well in my creations.

The images I used have been transfered to fabric, not paper, for longer lasting wear and used a special protector on the fabric.
