Virgin Mary Altered Art Shrine Religious Medal Necklace

I was so inspired to create a necklace in honor of Our Blessed Mother and didn't know how to create one using this very special and unique pocket statue encased in metal case and all of the sudden all just came together. I felt so nostalgic that I felt I wanted to create one with vintage items and felt so inspired by the vintage pearls.

I used vintage medals as well. One being a beautiful mother of pearl medal of Our Blessed Mother with Child and other two medals are vintage and beautiful as well.

I placed this unique pocket statue on vintage lace adorned it with faux pearls, porcelain roses and an angel on top of a locket.

This case opens to display the unique figural pocket statue of Our Lady of Fatima
Inside locket I added a beautiful picture of Our Lady of Lourdes, an angel on the other side and added a tiny rosary to carry all the time in locket.

"Precious Blood" The Greatest Love Religious Medal Bracelet

Canticle of the Blood
By Saint Maria de Mattias

Come, let us adore Christ, the Son of God,
who has redeemed us with His blood.

Clap your hands, all you peoples,
sing unto God with a voice of jubilation.

For You, God, glorious and mighty,
have shown us mercy.

You have not spared Your only Son
but delivered Him up in our behalf.

That You might redeem us from
our sins in Christ’s own blood;

That justified in the blood of Jesus
You might turn Your anger from us;

That we who were separated might
be reconciled through the blood of Christ.

O God, my God, what can I render
to You for all the good You have bestowed upon me?

I will take the chalice of salvation,
and I will call upon the power of Christ’s blood.

Sing to Jesus, all you saints, and
make known the memory of His Holiness.

For Christ indeed has loved us and
washed us in His blood and has
become our helper and redeemer.

May Christ be blessed forever who
has wrought such wonders in us.

Blessed be Jesus for all ages, and
may the heavens and the earth
be filled with the praises of His love.

Come, let us adore Christ, the Son
of God, who has redeemed us with His blood. Amen.

I wanted to create a bracelet with a strong statement of our Faith and a reminder of Our Lord's love and ultimate sacrifice for us. I am so devoted to His Precious Blood prayer. I pray it every day. I want for me and my family to be always be covered by His Precious Blood, a precious gift to redeem us and protect us.

I created this bracelet as that reminder of His Love and Protection.

I used a very unique crucifix, a beautiful glass heart to represent His love and red glass beads to represent His Precious Blood.

I strongly believe that we, in devotion, pray His prayer and ask Him to cover us with His precious Blood, He will be there.

As a sign that He has heard my prayers, I found a sign in one of my medals. I kept a Holy Relic medal that has been touched to the Shroud of Oviedo and when I get those relic medals, the piece of cloth encased on back is clean and white and several days ago, I took out the medal and it has a small red stain on the white piece of cloth. At first I thought it was on the clear encasing and try to clean it, but it's actually inside and comparing it to the others I have to create the bracelets with, they don't have any stains, only my personal one. I cannot express my gratitude and emotion when I think that I'm so worthy of His love and care, I humble myself to His love.

I also used a metal chalice charm besides this unique crucifix

I found some interesting shape red glass beads to represent Our Lord's Precious Blood.

Our Lady of Lourdes Cameo Bracelet

O Immaculate Virgin Mary,
Mother of Mercy,
You are the refuge of sinners,
the health of the sick,
and the comfort of the afflicted.
You know my wants,
my troubles, my sufferings.
By Your appearance at the Grotto of Lourdes
You made it a privileged sanctuary
where Your favors are given to people
streaming to it from the whole world.
Over the years countless sufferers
have obtained the cure for their infirmities -
whether of soul, mind, or body.
Therefore I come to You
with limitless confidence
to implore Your motherly intercession.
Obtain, O loving Mother,
the grant of my requests.
Through gratitude for Your favors,
I will endeavor to imitate Your virtues,
that I may one day share in Your glory.

Amen.

On this bracelet I created in honor of Our Beautiful Lady of Lourdes, I used a vintage cameo and was inspired to add angels which I created with gemstones.

I also added a jade flower and porcelain roses as well.

These handcrafted angels I was inspired to add are created with natural azurite gemstone beads and Czech. glass beads and beautiful goldtone metal wings.

Victorian Angels Cameo Religious Charm Bracelet

This is an Angelic Victorian-Style Charm bracelet created with:

Everyone of us are assigned if not one, many angels to help us and guide us in life. God wanted us to have them in our life.

Animals too have angels and my personal experience with an Archangel Jordi, he is the Archangel of animals and knows that animals, like birds are constantly singing the praises of God

That is the reason on this bracelet I added butterfly and bird charms, as a reminder of how we too must sing the praises of God and as the butterflies always enjoying the beauty of God's creations and a reminder of those angelic beings always around us to help and protect.

I created this bracelet with beautiful 3D resin cameos with angels. I also added beautiful handcrafted angels made with hand painted Shabby wood beads, Czech. Glass, Pearls and Metal wings and halos.

I also added a couple of glass butterflies and metal bird and butterflies charms.

Jesus Locket Altered Art Necklace

I created another inspirational and meaningful altered art locket necklace.

I created it as a shrine to Our Lord, Infant of Prague and St. Martin de Porres to be able to carry with you all the time.

The cameo I set it in a beautiful ornate setting and then added it to the locket and adorning it with beautiful amber color rhinestones.

St. Martin de Porres
(He was venerated from the day of his death. Many miraculous cures, including raising the dead attributed to Brother Martin. First black American saint. Also known as Martin of Charity; the Saint of the Broom (for his devotion to his work, no matter how menial) Established an orphanage and children’s hospital for the poor children of the slums. Set up a shelter for the stray cats and dogs and nursed them back to health. Lived in self-imposed austerity, never ate meat, fasted continuously, and spent much time in prayer and meditation with a great devotion to the Holy Eucharist.

Inside locket I added a tiny pocket statue of Infant of Prague, medal of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, tiny cross, three Hail Mary beads from vintage broken rosary.
Other side I added a picture of St. Martin de Porres from prayer card.

Our Lady of Czestochowa Bracelet

The Black Madonna of Czestochowa The Icon was, according to legend, painted by St. Luke the Evangelist on a cypress table top from the house of the Holy Family. The picture shows the Madonna in fleur de lys robes.
The painting displays a traditional composition derived from the icons of Eastern Orthodoxy. The Virgin Mary is shown as the "Hodegetria" ("One Who Shows the Way"). In it the Virgin directs attention away from herself, gesturing with her right hand toward Jesus as the source of salvation. In turn, the child extends his right hand toward the viewer in blessing while holding a book of gospels in his left hand.

the oldest documents from Jasna Góra states that the picture travelled from Jerusalem, via Constantinople, to finally reach Czestochowa in August 1382. The Black Madonna is credited with miraculously saving the monastery of Jasna Gó ra (English: Bright Mount) from a Swedish 17th Century invasion, The Deluge, which actually changed the course of the war. This event led King Jan Kazimierz to "crown" Our Lady of Czestochowa ("the Black Madonna") as Queen and Protector of Poland in the cathedral of Lwó w on April 1, 1656. This legend was however created much later than the actual events, as in reality the icon had been taken away well in advance so as to prevent it from falling into the hands of the advancing Swedish army.

Another legend concerning the Black Madonna of Czestochowa is that the presence of the holy painting saved its church from being destroyed in a fire, but not before the flames darkened the flesh tone pigments. The legend concerning the two scars on the Black Madonna's right cheek is that a Hussite robber drew his sword upon the image and inflicted two deep strikes. When the robber tried to inflict a third strike, he fell to the ground and squirmed in agony until his death. Despite past attempts to repair these scars, they had always reappeared.*

*Wikipedia I just love this unique medal of Our Lady of Czestochowa- I just added a beautiful blue rhinestone and created it with a blast of color using misc. glass lampwork beads and Czech. glass.

I also added a figural medal of Virgin Mary with Baby Jesus "Madonna of the streets", Our Lady of Medjugorje medal, St. Therese, St. Joseph, St. Clare, St. Catherine, Our Lady of Lourdes with St. Bernadette and many others.

Prayer to Saint Anthony the Wonder-Worker

Saint Anthony, perfect imitator of Jesus, who received from God the special power of restoring lost things, grant that I may find {mention your petition} which has been lost. As least restore to me peace and tranquility of mind, the loss of which has afflicted me even more than my material loss. To this favor I ask another of you: that I may always remain in possession of the true good that is God.Let me rather lose all things than lose God, my supreme good. Let me never suffer the loss of my greatest treasure, eternal life with God. Amen.

St. Anthony is one of my favorite Saints, I can't count the times He has interceded for me or my family to help find anything lost.

Just today my son had lost his wallet, he had just come from the store and he was afraid someone had taken it because we looked in the car twice, even on the side panels of the car and nothing. I prayed to St. Anthony to please help my son find his wallet and shortly after that my son decided to go check again the car and there was the wallet on the side of the car, which three of us had gone to the car before and it wasn't there.

I can't thank him enough for all the favours he has given us.
Thank you St. Anthony

I created this bracelet in a very unique color combination, for some reason these colors are the ones that came together for this bracelet.

I also used a very unique pewter medal depicting St. Anthony with Baby Jesus which I attached to a natural Jasper bead and adorned with pink rhinestones.

St. Therese Catholic Bracelet

PRAYER TO ST. THERESA

O Lord, who hast said; "unless you become as little children, you shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven"; grant us, we beseech Thee, so to walk in the footsteps of thy blessed Virgin Theresa with a humble and single heart, that we may attain to everlasting rewards: who livest and reignest world without end. Amen

I have created another bracelet honoring St. Therese and love the combination of the greens with pinks and, of course, I must add a rose as a symbol of St. Therese.

On this bracelet besides her color medals and relic medal I added other Catholic medals including, Virgin Mary, Mary Magdalen, St. Kateri, Our Lady of Mt. Carmel and Our Lady of Czestochowa.

I added natural rose quartz and pink agate besides glass pearls.

Tuesday, December 15, 2009

I love the end result of this necklace. I actually started with the cameo that I was originally was going to use it in a bracelet then I began to add more rhinestones and another setting and that is when the inspiration for a rosary necklace came to me, after finishing the cameo.
To Center cameo, I added two beautiful goldtone medals of Virgin Mary, one being Our LAdy of Miraculous Medal
Since it was going to be too long, I added piece of Rosary on the side and to make it more unique I added a beautiful smaller cameo of Our Lady of Fatima and a stunning ornate crucifix made in Italy.
Materials I used are glass pearls, rhinestones and Czech. Aurora Borealis clear crystals.

Our Lady of Fatima Charm Bracelet

O Most Holy Virgin Mary,
Queen of the most Holy Rosary,
you were pleased to appear to the children of Fatima
and reveal a glorious message.
We implore you,
inspire in our hearts a fervent love
for the recitation of the Rosary.

On this bracelet the detail does not show too well. My old camera broke and since I got a new one, I cannot figure out the settings yet, I'm still working on it, hoping to get better.

I added a beautiful Rose quartz heart holding relic medal and many Catholic medals, including Our Lady of Medjugorje, Our Lady of Lourdes with St. Bernadette, St. Catherine, St. Padre Pio and others.

I added beautiful Czech. glass flowers and created a very unique combination.

Heavenly Father, You have sent angels to relay Your messages to us, to protect us from danger, and to rescue us from the Evil One. I thank You for the precious gift of these holy guardians that You assigned to me and my loved ones. O Lord, give us Your help through our angels to fend off the evil spirits that tempt us, that send us deceptive messages, that try to cause divisions, and all others who seek the ruin of our souls. I also pray that the guardian angels of my church, my town and my nation will have all the strength and power they need to protect us from the snares and attacks of wickedness. Guardian angels, pray for us. Amen.
If you love angels and believe in angels as much as I do, this is a perfect necklace I created in their honor. They are such faithful and loving companions that is not a day I thank them and ask for their intervention.
They are so wonderful that most of the time, when you have already built a report with them, they will work with you for the honor and Glory of Our Lord and Blessed Mother with us.
I have had so many beautiful and extraordinary experiences with angels and my most recent one was when I was going to create this necklace.
I had the inspiration to create one and I started with the dichroic glass pendant, I added a beautiful medal of an angel and adorned it with rhinestones and that is all I had of angels or an angel and I was going to put it away until I collected more angels. I wasn't even planning to go looking for them, maybe on the following weeks I would do it, but I guess they had another plan for me.
As I was going to place the glass away, I heard in my head the name of St. Vincent de Paul and had the urge to go and I just remembered that here in Tucson there is a St. Vincent de Paul thrift store and I just had the impulse to go, I didn't know what I would go look for or what I would find and left.
To my surprise, I found the rest of the angels in my necklace, all the broaches, including the angel on front of cameo, which I tought it was so wonderful to be able to find them all in one place, even the cashier mention that was strange they had so many angels.
I guess it was meant for me to finish this necklace in their honor as well in the honor of St. Jude and Infant of Prague, everything just came together the same day and I'm so pleased with the result and my beautiful experience.

I just love this little angel, so whimsical, but yet so peaceful
