Special Relics

Throughout the time I have been creating my religious jewelry I have had the privilege to have met some wonderful Spiritual people that in turn have been blessed of obtaining very Sacred 3rd Class Relics that they wanted to share with me so I will be able to touch my jewelry to these special Sacred Relics with no intention of financial gain, only to bless others.

These relics include Rose petals touched to  St. Therese's body, a prayer card relic with feathers from  St. Padre Pio's pillows, Relic piece which is part of St. Padre Pio's garment,  pieces of cloths touched to 3rd. Class relics of the following Saints; St. Mary Magdalene, St. Ann, St. Francis of Assisi, St. Therese, St. Gemma Galdani,  and Blessed Francis Xavier Seelos.

A special piece of cloth by Lidia, she is the coordinator for Misión Por el Amor de Dios en Todo el Mundo "For the Love of God Worldwide",  a very special lady in Mexico that has been spreading the devotion to St. Philomena and also sent me a piece of cloth touched to a First Class relic of St. Philomena

Recently I was blessed once again by receiving a package from a very special lady, Vivi, from France, a special package containing many blessed medals, including from Our Lady of Miraculous Medal direct from Rue du Bac Chapel, Paris, Padre Pio’s and Archangel Michaël’s direct from Italy, St. Thérèse’s direct from Lisieux and from Basilica Pontificia San Nicola and other special pieces of devotionals.

Including a 3rd class relic, a silk touched the bones of the Saint, from St. Margaret Mary Alacoque.
Also included very special Blessed medals of Jesus' Holy Tunic from Argenteuil and a special card with a picture of Jesus' Holy Tunic, " Christ’s Tunic is the piece of clothing worn by Jesus during the last hours preceding his death. It was also worn during the Last Supper, the agony of Gethsemane, the arrest at the Mount of Olives, the appearance before the Sanhedrin and before Pilate and finally during the path to Calvary.

Weaved in one piece from top to bottom, Christ’s Tunic is seamless. The Tunic collected the blood from his wounds during Christ’s Road to Calvary. Early Christian communities considered it as a relic of great importance and it was kept in the Orient for several centuries"
The tunic was on exhibition at the Basilica of Argenteuil

I was blessed to have received all of these special relics and I have always touched and will continue to touch my jewelry with these special relics.

The intention is to venerate these Saints and inspire you into prayer for the intercession of the Saints

Nostalgia

This week I was inspired to create a couple of bracelets with the Nostalgia of past times when pictures were black and white.

Maybe a reminiscence time where I believe there was more fervor in praying and getting closer to all Divine.
For some reason those pictures do bring a very sensitive part of me.  Sensitive in the sense of being in touch with the Spiritual more.

I have always loved antiques and the pictures I used on these couple of bracelets bring that feel to them.

One I created honoring Our Lady of Sorrows

In this bracelet I used a beautiful image of Our Lady of Sorrows in black and white adorned with clear rhinestones.  Using beautiful white foil glass hears, to express Her Love for humanity that She accepted being Mother to Our Lord and knowing His Sacrifice for humanity, and black and white lampwork glass beads.

I incorporated pink roses also representing Her Love and a reminder that Her Love will always be with us.

Another bracelet I created is honoring Our Lady of Lourdes

Also using a beautiful image of Our Lady of Lourdes in black and white and adorned with clear rhinestones as well.

I created a beautiful pendant using a vintage brooch, converted into pendant, and adding a vintage medal of Our Lady of Miraculous Medal and adorned with clear rhinestones to make the medal stand out.

On this bracelet the colors are more subtle using beautiful smokey lavender, very unique color, beads and beautiful Earth tone Czech. glass beads to accent the white pearls and to make the pendant stand out more, I used a beautiful handcrafted red rose created by my daughter-in-law, Ya-Ya.

Catholic Virgin Mary OL Fatima , Saints Religious Medals Charm Bracelet

 Dear Lady of Fatima,
We come on bended knee,
To beg Your intercession,
For peace and unity.

Dear Mary, won't You show us,
The right and shining way,
We pledge our love and offer You,
A Rosary each day.

You promised at Fatima,
Each time that You appeared,
To help us if we pray to You,
To banish war and fear.

Dear Lady, on First Saturdays,
We ask Your guiding hand,
For grace and guidance here on earth,
And protection for our land.

In honor of Our Lady of Fatima I created this bracelet using a stunning cameo of Our Lady of Fatima adorned with pink Czech. rhinestones fit for a Queen.

I wanted this cameo to be the main emphasis, therefore, I didn't add any other colors except pink and white to make the cameo stand out even more.

Catholic Virgin Mary OL Lourdes Cameo, Saints Religious Medals Charm Bracelet

Our Lady of Lourdes: France, 1858

Our Lady appeared to 14 year old Bernadette Soubirous in Lourdes, France, 18 times from February through July, 1858. During the apparitions she told Bernadette to dig a hole which later in the day produced a stream of water, bringing about thousands of spiritual and physical cures even to this day. Mary pleaded for "Penitence! Penitence! Penitence!" and urged us to "Pray to God for sinners". She called herself the "Immaculate Conception"

This bracelet came as inspiration after having a dream days before that I found myself in a cave, which is not the first time I have dreams of caves and Our Blessed Mother is there.  In one instance She was surrounded by Rosaries and other time surrounded by clear crystals and this time the She was surrounded by what appeared to be moonstone the stones had a beautiful cloudy finish but shiny.  She was standing with Her hands folded in prayer and when She opened them, gold was emanating from Her chest, it looked like real liquid gold on Her, She was just so beautiful and when I tried to look at Her, I could not help to bow down in reverence and also Her presence is so Glorious that are times I feel so humbled that She would come to me in my dreams.  I felt so much love and tenderness and Her smile was so inviting that I wish I could have spent more time in Her presence.

This is an antique style cuff bracelet using a stunning cameo of Our Lady of Lourdes surrounded by Czech. rhinestones and set on vintage lace and adorned with vintage and new embellishments including rhinestones.

Medals used are brass and copper of St. Benedict, Our Lady of Fatima and Our Lady of Miraculous Medal

"Golden Radiance" Our Lady of Guadalupe Charm Bracelet

This bracelet was inspired by Our Lady of Guadalupe's Golden Radiance I experienced recently.

My youngest granddaughter, whom is only 7 months old, fell ill with Bronchiolitis  and had to be hospitalized due to having bad reaction to medications.

I had been praying for her well being and prayed to Our Lady of Guadalupe to protect her from any illness and bring her the healing that she needs and as I was praying I had a vision of Our Lady of Guadalupe picking up the baby and also holding my oldest granddaughter, which is 3 yrs old and holding both in Her arms and as she picked up the baby, She emanated a beautiful golden radiance that surrounded Her and the girls and was so beautiful that the radiance is indescribable and at that moment I knew She was healing my granddaughter.

My granddaughter is now out of the hospital and back to self, the happy baby that she was, like she was never sick.

Thank you Blessed Mother, will always Love You

PRAYER TO OUR LADY OF GUADALUPE

O Virgin of Guadalupe,
Mother of the Americas,
grant to our homes the grace of loving
and respecting life in its beginnings,
with the same love with which
you conceived in your womb
the life of the Son of God.
Blessed Virgin Mary,
Mother of Fair Love,
protect our families so that
they may always be united
and bless the upbringing of our children.

Our hope, look upon us with pity,
teach is to go continually to Jesus,
and if we fall
help us to rise again and return to Him
through the confession of our faults
and our sins in the Sacrament of penance,
which gives peace to the soul.

We beg you to grant us a great love
of all the holy Sacraments,
which are, as it were,
the signs that your Son left us on earth.
Thus, Most Holy Mother,
with the peace of God in our consciences,
with our hearts free from evil and hatred,
we will be able to bring to all others
true joy and peace,
which come to us from your Son,
our Lord Jesus Christ,
who with the Father and the Holy Spirit,
lives and reigns for ever and ever.

Amen.

Catholic Virgin Mary Cameo, Saints Religious Medals Handcrafted Charm Bracelet

For a very long time I wanted to add a rhinestone or jewel crown to Our Blessed Mother in my cameos but could hardly find small enough to fit on the cameo until I found a stunning brooch that had small enough pieces to convert into crowns and I was so excited to be able to incorporate the crown to the image of Our Lady.

This bracelet turned out so unique with the color combinations.  I also found some stunning lampwork hearts with gold foil that were meant for this bracelet.

Catholic medals I used are Immaculate Heart of Mary, Christ, St. Juan Diego with Our Lady of Guadalupe, Blessed Sacrament, St. Benedict, Mother Theresa and Sacred Heart of Jesus.

In addition to the stunning hearts, I added beautiful cream color with black lampwork beads making this bracelet unique.

St Benedict, Saints Religious Medals Charm Bracelet

PATRONAGE: Against evil, witchcraft; against poison; agricultural workers; carvers; civil engineers; copper smiths; dying people

THE JUBILEE MEDAL OF ST. BENEDICT

The power of St. Benedict is revealed in this small object that has been fostered by his spiritual sons many years. Marvelous is the aid which the St. Benedict Medal affords to its devout wearers in the manifold necessities of soul and body. On this account the Medal is well known and widely used throughout the Christian world; everywhere it is regarded as a highly favored object of devotion.

St. Benedict (born at Nursia, Italy, in 480) had a profound veneration for the holy Cross and for our Saviour Crucified. In virtue of the Sign of the Cross, he wrought many miracles and exercised great power over the spirits of darkness. In consequence of the great veneration in which St. Benedict was held from the early Middle Ages, it followed that a Medal was struck, one side of which represents St. Benedict holding the Cross in one hand and the Holy Rule in the other. Around the image of St. Benedict are these words in Latin "May his presence protect us in the hour of death." St. Benedict has ever been the patron of the dying, because of the circumstances attending his own most glorious death, for he breathed forth his soul while standing in prayer before the Most Blessed Sacrament.

The reverse of the Medal shows the image of the Cross. Around the margin are the initials of Latin words which form verses supposed to have originated with the holy Father Benedict himself. The English translation is: "Be gone Satan! Suggest not to me thy vain things. The cup thou profferest me is evil; drink thou thy poison." In the angles formed by the arms of the Cross are the letters C.S.P.B., signifying "Cross of the holy Father Benedict." The letters on the Cross itself have this meaning: "May the holy Cross be my light; let not the dragon be my guide."

Medals of Saint Benedict are sacramentals that may be blessed legitimately by any priest or deacon

I created this unique bracelet honoring St. Benedict using a St. Benedict large medal and also using several Italian Catholic medals which include Our Lady of Sorrows with St. Peregrine, Sacred Heart of Child Jesus,  Holy Child of Atocha, Archangel St. Gabriel, Our Lady of Victory with Don Bosco and others.

Beads I used are a very unique bumpy beads that I was taken away with it's uniqueness with green and blue over black.  I also used beautiful Jasper Gemstone beads and glass blue beads.

"Divine Love" Valentine's Day Sacred Heart Catholic Medals Religious Bracelet

Prayer to the Sacred Heart by Saint Francis De Sales

May Thy Heart dwell always in our hearts!
May Thy Blood ever flow in the veins of our souls!
O sun of our hearts, Thou givest life to all things by the rays of Thy goodness!
I will not go until Thy Heart has strengthened me, O Lord Jesus!
May the Heart of Jesus be the King of my heart!
Blessed be God. Amen.

I wanted to create a bracelet that expresses the Divine Love Our Lord has for us.  We normally celebrate Valentine's Day giving to love ones or people we love but sometimes we don't realize His Divine Love that should also be celebrated and with this bracelet I wanted to convey that Love.

I used a beautiful vintage cameo.  I used lampwork heart beads and teardrop shape beads representing His bleeding heart.  Other Catholic medals I used are St. Therese, Padre Pio, Blessed Sacrament, Our Lady of the Well and others., a one decade rosary using Olive Wood beads from Israel, very special beads.

May His Divine Love always well in your heart.

St. Padre Pio Relic Religious Medals Handcrafted Bracelet

Prayer to Saint Padre Pio

Beloved Padre Pio, today I add my prayer to the
thousands of prayers offered to you every day by
those who love and venerate you.  They ask for
cures and healings, earthly and spiritual blessings,
and peace for body and mind.   And because of
your friendship with the Lord, He heals those you
ask to be healed and He forgives those you ask to
be forgiven.

Through your visible wounds of the Cross, which
you bore for 50 years, you were chosen in our
time to glorify the crucified Jesus.  As we
lovingly recall the wounds that pierced your
hands, feen and side, we not only remember the
blood you shed in pain, but your smile, and the
invisible halo of sweet-smelling flowers that
surrounded your presence, the perfume of sanctity.

Saint Pio, may the healings of the sick, the
serenity of the troubled, and the loving comfort
received by those in pain and despair be a sure
sign that you continue to intercede for us and our
loved ones before the Lord.

In your kindness, please help me with my own
special request.  (Here state your petition).  Each
and every day, bless me and my loved ones.
Amen

I love the new style of the Third Class Relic medals of St. Padre Pio, that is now encased inside a dome.

On this bracelet I added a beautiful vintage St. Ann Chaplet attached to the bracelet making it more special.

Other Catholic medals I used are Our Lady of Guadalupe with St. Charbel, Our Lady of Miraculous Medal, Divine Mercy, Our Lady of Medjugorje, Our Lady of Fatima and others.

God's Earth Angels

Have you ever experienced a random act of Kindness from someone you have never met or spoken with?

I call them God's Earth Angels.  There are many of these Earth Angels and I have met many in life.

I met a very kind loving lady named Alexandra Cadena.  She has an online store and sells vintage medals on Etsy and ebay.  For the past several years, I came across her site and I just fell in love with her medals and I kept checking back often to see if I could win one of her lots or buy some of her medals but my budget did not allow it but I kept being uplifted just by looking at them and when I needed some inspiration, again, I would go back to her store and I thought to myself I know one day God will allow me to buy some of her medals.

One day when I went to visit her Etsy shop Alexandra Cadena Religious Medals and Treasures I saw a stunning medal of Our Blessed Mother surrounded by flowers that just took my breath away and I felt so much love and peace from that medal and again, I said to myself, one day I will buy one of these medals.

Time passed and we never spoke, I just was window shopping in her sites and on Dec. 29 I noticed she had won one of my bracelets on ebay and I felt so honored that she would be bidding on my bracelets since I have always admired her medals.  She wrote to me on the bracelet and I felt an immediate bond with Alexandra, like I knew her for ever.  We continue to convey messages and she informed me that she wanted to send me some medals for me to use on my creations and one specially for me.  She asked me which one I wanted but told her let Our Blessed Mother chose the one for me

On Friday I received the package and I was just blown away with how many medals she had sent me and I could feel the box pulsating with so much energy, it was a beautiful experience.  When I opened the package with the medal just for me I was in tears when I saw one of the stunning medals with Our Lady of Help, Maria Auxiliadora, with the flowers encased in hard resin.  It was one of the ones I loved in her store, I just couldn't believe it Our Lady came to me through Alexandra.  She also sent me a Mustard Seed pendant for me and one for my daughter-in-law.  I will forever be grateful.

God and Our Blessed Mother are merciful and loving.  Thank you for Your Earth Angels like Alexandra

I also received these stunning Gold Filled and Sterling medals
Many more here, including copper and stunning rhinestone crosses and locket

If you like these medals check out her store on ebay http://www.ebay.com/sch/alexandracadena/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_from=&_ipg=25&_trksid=p3692
