Nostalgia

This week I was inspired to create a couple of bracelets with the Nostalgia of past times when pictures were black and white.

Maybe a reminiscence time where I believe there was more fervor in praying and getting closer to all Divine.
For some reason those pictures do bring a very sensitive part of me.  Sensitive in the sense of being in touch with the Spiritual more.

I have always loved antiques and the pictures I used on these couple of bracelets bring that feel to them.

One I created honoring Our Lady of Sorrows

In this bracelet I used a beautiful image of Our Lady of Sorrows in black and white adorned with clear rhinestones.  Using beautiful white foil glass hears, to express Her Love for humanity that She accepted being Mother to Our Lord and knowing His Sacrifice for humanity, and black and white lampwork glass beads.

I incorporated pink roses also representing Her Love and a reminder that Her Love will always be with us.

Another bracelet I created is honoring Our Lady of Lourdes

Also using a beautiful image of Our Lady of Lourdes in black and white and adorned with clear rhinestones as well.

I created a beautiful pendant using a vintage brooch, converted into pendant, and adding a vintage medal of Our Lady of Miraculous Medal and adorned with clear rhinestones to make the medal stand out.

On this bracelet the colors are more subtle using beautiful smokey lavender, very unique color, beads and beautiful Earth tone Czech. glass beads to accent the white pearls and to make the pendant stand out more, I used a beautiful handcrafted red rose created by my daughter-in-law, Ya-Ya.

"Sacrificial Love" Catholic Religious Medals Bracelet

I compassionate thee,
O most sorrowful Mother!
Thy heart was pierced
with a sword of grief
when Simeon foretold
to thee in the Temple
the ignominious death
and the desolation
of thy Divine and most dear Son,
which thou west destined
one day to witness.
By the great anguish
of thy suffering heart,
O gracious Queen of the universe,
impress upon my mind,
in life and in death,
the sacred Passion of Jesus
and shine own sorrows.

Amen.

I was inspired to create another very unique, symbolic and meaningful bracelet representing Our Lord's and Blessed Mother's Sacrificial Love

I used a our Lady of Sorrows vintage cameo as Her Sacrificial Love because as a mother knowing Her son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, will come to redeem us for Love She offered Herself to offer a Mother's Love to Our Lord and the anguish to surrender Him

Every time I create a bracelet with Our Lady of Sorrows, it brings me to tears to just imagine the pain of a mother for the love of humanity surrendered Her Son to such horrible death and the sacrifice Our Lord made for His Love as well

I used clear teardrop-shape beads to represent Our Lady's Tears

St. Alphonsus Maria de Liguori

I added the relic medal inside locket and adorned it with clear rhinestones and added a beautiful vintage picture of Child Jesus and a piece of a broken vintage rosary.

Outside locket I added a 3D resin cameo of Our Lady of Sorrows adorning it with rhinestones.

"Sacrificial Love" Catholic Religious Medals Bracelet

O Blessed Virgin Mary,
Immaculate Mother of God,
who didst endure a martyrdom of love and grief,
beholding the sufferings and sorrows of Jesus!
Thou didst co-operate in the benefit of my redemption
by thy innumerable afflictions
and by offering to the Eternal Father His only-begotten Son
as a holocaust and victim of propitiation for my sins.
I thank thee for the unspeakable love
which led thee to deprive thyself of the Fruit of thy womb,
Jesus, true God and true Man,
to save me, a sinner.
Oh! make use of the unfailing intercession of thy sorrows
with the Father and the Son,
that I may steadfastly amend my life
and never again crucify my loving Redeemer by new sins;
arid that, persevering till death in His grace,
I may obtain eternal life through the merits of His Cross and Passion.

Amen.

Mother of love, of sorrow, and of mercy,
pray for us.

(By St. Bridget)

I was inspired to create this very unique, symbolic and meaningful bracelet representing Our Lord's and Blessed Mother's Sacrificial Love

Valentine's Day is soon approaching and as we celebrate the love for each other we must also keep this Blessed Sacrificial Love in our daily life

I used an Our Lady of Sorrows vintage cameo as Her Sacrificial Love because as a mother knowing Her son will come to redeem us She offered Herself to offer a Mother's Love to Our Lord and the anguish to surrender Him

I used a very unique 2" Holy Trinity Crucifix

I asked Jesus, "How much do you love me?"

"This much," He said.

And He stretched out His arms, and He died.

For God so loved the world, that He gave His Only Son, that we should not die, but have eternal life!

~ John 3:16

I also used porcelain roses

THE ROSE BEING REPRESENTATIVE OF MARY
The rose is regarded as the "queen of flowers", and often symbolizes Mary, the Queen of Heaven. Also an almost universal symbol of perfect love, its color, perfection of form, and fragrance, as well as its thorns signifies Mary's role in salvation history as the Mother of God the Savior who was crowned with thorns and shed His blood on the Cross for love of mankind. The rose, arising from a thorny bush, also signifies Mary, the Mystical Rose, "our fallen Nature's solitary boast", who alone of the human race was conceived without sin. It also may contain a parallel with the fiery thorn bush from which God spoke to Moses: Mary, immaculately conceived, was the means through which God became Man, The Word made flesh.)

" Our Lady of Tears" Rosary Charm Bracelet

ROSARY OF OUR LADY'S TEARS
Next to the Most Precious Blood of Jesus there is nothing more touching and effective than the tears of Our Heavenly Mother. How many tears She shed on the Way of the Cross and when She stood beneath the Cross, She shed bitter tears in reparation for the many insults Her Divine Son then and which He would receive in the future. She wept bitter tears for the many souls who would not submit to the Commandments of God, and so would be lost forever. In recent centuries, too, She wept tears of sorrow.
This Rosary was revealed in 1929 and 1930 by Our Lord and His most Holy Mother to Sister Amalia in Campina, Brazil. Our Lord's words to Sister Amalia on November 8, 1929 were: "My daughter, whatever I am asked through the tears of My Mother, I shall give lovingly."

HOW TO PRAY THE ROSARY OF TEARS:
THE CHAPLET IS PRAYED WITH REGULAR ROSARY BEADS IF YOU DON’T HAVE THE SPECIAL CHAPLET BEADS, EXCEPT YOU SAY SEVEN DECADES.
INSTEAD OF THE CREED, SAY:
Crucified Jesus! We fall at Your feet and offer You the tears of Her who with deep compassionate love accompanied You on Your sorrowful Way of the Cross. Grant, O Good Master, that we take to heart the lessons which the tears of Your Most Holy Mother teach us, so that we may fulfill Your Holy will on earth, that we may be worthy to praise and exalt You in Heaven for all eternity.
INSTEAD OF OUT FATHER, SAY:
V. O Jesus, look upon the tears of Her who loved You most on earth
R. And loves You most ardently in Heaven.
INSTEAD OF THE HAIL MARY, SAY:
V. O Jesus, hear our prayers
R. For the sake of Your most Holy Mother’s tears. At the end repeat three times on the small beads the invocations that replace the Our Father.
Conclude with this prayer:
O Mary, Mother of love, sorrow and mercy, we beg you to unite your prayers with ours so that Jesus, Your Divine Son, to Whom we turn may hear our petitions in the name of Your maternal tears and may give us in addition to the favors we ask, the crown of everlasting life. Amen

I created this bracelet as a reminder of Our Lady's Tears and I also included a one decade rosary bracelet attached made with glass pearls. I added white aurora borealis crystals (teardrop shape) to represent Our Lady's Tears. I added a beautiful 3D cameo of Our Lady of Sorrows.

I also added other Catholic medals which include Virgin Mary, Our Lady of Guadalupe, Holy Trinity, Archangel St. Gabriel and others. I also added natural Amazonite Gemstones.
