This is another special and meaningful locket shrine necklace I created honoring Our Beautiful Lady of Fatima, Jesus and St. Padre Pio

I added a 3D resin cameo of Our Lady of Fatima and inside of locket I added a very unique medal with earth from San Giovanni Rotondo, Padre Pio's Shrine. Included inside are a tiny crucifix, tiny chalice and tiny archangel St. Gabriel figure adorned with rhinestones

It's a wonderful way to express your devotion and be able to carry such wonderful relic with you.

OL Perpetual Help, Saints Religious Medals Bracelet

Our Lady of Perpetual Succour

(Or OUR LADY OF PERPETUAL HELP.)

It represents the Mother of God holding the Divine Child while the Archangels Michael and Gabriel present before Him the instruments of His Passion. Over the figures in the picture are some Greek letters which form the abbreviated words Mother of God, Jesus Christ, Archangel Michael, and Archangel Gabriel respectively. It was brought to Rome towards the end of the fifteenth century by a pious merchant, who, dying there, ordered by his will that the picture should be exposed in a church for public veneration. It was exposed in the church of San Matteo, Via Merulana, between St. Mary Major and St. John Lateran. Crowds flocked to this church, and for nearly three hundred years many graces were obtained through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin. The picture was then popularly called the Madonna di San Matteo. The church was served for a time by the Hermits of St. Augustine, who had sheltered their Irish brethren in their distress. These Augustinians were still in charge when the French invaded Rome (1812) and destroyed the church. The picture disappeared; it remained hidden and neglected for over forty years, but a series of providential circumstances between 1863 and 1865 led to its discovery in an oratory of the Augustinian Fathers at Santa Maria in Posterula. *Catholic Encyclopedia

When I create a bracelet honoring Our Lady of Perpetual Help, I always feel so joyous, love the image itself, love the sweet expression of Our Mother Mary's face and how She is embracing Our Lord and love the colors.

I was able to create another bracelet in Her honor and Our Lord's honor using a gorgeous porcelain cameo adorned with Sapphire color Czech. rhinestones.

I used a smaller vintage cameo of Sacred Heart of Jesus as well and many Catholic medals including a beautiful rosary center of Our Lady of Miraculous Medal.

I created another altered art necklace honoring beautiful St. Therese

I could just feel so much love when I was creating this necklace, it is difficult to describe and when I began I had no idea what to add and all of the sudden everything just came together including the beautiful rose

Infant of Prague Watch Shrine Religious Necklace

History

The exact origin of the Infant Jesus statue was not truly known, but historical sources point to a small 28cm high sculpture of the Holy Child with a bird in his right hand carved in around the year 1340. Many other Infant Jesus sculptures were also carved by famous masters throughout Europe in the Middle Ages.

The popularity of the Child Jesus grew in the Baroque period in Spain which may have been caused by the visions of St. Teresa of Avila. A number of sculptures made in Spain eventually found their way to Prague. These sculptures were made of wax, ivory, and bronze and were dressed in garments reflecting the aristocratic fashion of that period.

It is unknown to this date which of those early sculptures that got to Prague was the exact origin of the Infant Jesus of Prague. It was speculated that it came from a monastery in Bohemia and from there it was obtained by Dona Isabella Manrique who gave it as a wedding gift to her daughter Marie Manrique who married a noble of the Czech kingdom. Later, the Holy Infant statue was again given to Marie's daughter Polyxena as a wedding gift in 1587. In 1628, Lady Polyxena presented the statue to the Carmelites at the Church of the Virgin Mary the Victorious in Mala Strana saying, "I am giving you what I most esteem of my possessions. Keep the sculpture in reference and you will be well off". This statue then became known as the Infant Jesus of Prague. It stands 47 cm high (includes a 2cm base) and has a long gown around the wax body.

Shortly after 1628, the Saxons and the Swedes took turns to invade Prague and the Carmelites had to flee and the veneration of the Holy Infant ceased. It was not until 1638 that a young priest named Fr. P. Cyril, a Matre Dei, returned to Prague and found the Holy Infant statue buried in the ruins of the Lady of Victory church. Fr. Cyril cleaned the statue and placed it in the oratory for worship. While he was praying before the Infant Jesus, he heard the Infant Jesus say, "Have pity on Me and I will have pity on you. Give Me My hands and I will give you peace. The more you honor Me, the more I will bless you".

The repairing of the statue's hand was a miracle since Fr. Cyril and his peers did not have the financial resources nor the know-how to repair it. Through prayer, Fr. Cyril asked the Blessed Virgin Mary in several occasions to to provide the necessary funds for fixing the Infant statue. The Divine Infant spoke to him again, "Place Me near the entrance of the sacristy and you will receive aid". Fr. Cyril then did what he was told and in a few days time, the statue was fixed by a man who came to the sacristy to offer help.

Since the statue was fixed, a number of miracles had occurred and the word began to spread, resulting in a large increase of veneration to the Holy Child. This includes the Czech nobles as well. These early miracles were recorded in a book by P. Emerich a St Stephano, published in German in 1736 and in Czech in 1749 .

In 1641, an altar was built for the Infant Jesus in the church, and in 1644 a chapel was built, but was not completed until 1654. Many nobles of the time had greatly supported the Infant Jesus, among them were Lady Polyxena, King Ferdinard (Czech), King Charles Gustav(Sweden), and Bernard Ignatius of the Lords of Martinic. It is interesting to note that the crown over the Divine Infant's head came from Bernard Ignatius, who presented the Infant statue with a little gold crown set with precious stones and jewels on January 14, 1651 during a procession that carried the Infant Jesus statue from the Lady of Victory church to other Prague churches. The Infant Jesus was solemnly coronated on April 4, 1655 by the Archbishop Josef Corta acting for Cardinal Harrach III who was sick.

After that period, Prague went through more wars and unrest but the church and the Infant Jesus chapel was miraculously protected. In 1776 the altar was rebuilt using marble and two huge sculptures of the Blessed Virgin Mary and St. Joseph were placed to the left and right sides of the altar. The Holy Infant was kept in a glass case standing on a pedestal engraved with crystals, and surrounding the Infant were twenty angels in gold.

St. Therese Relic, Saints Medals Religious Bracelet

Prayer is, for me, an outburst from the heart; it is a simple glance darted upwards to Heaven; it is a cry of gratitude and of love in the midst of trial as in the midst of joy! In a word, it is something exalted, supernatural, which dilates the soul and unites it to God. Sometimes when I find myself, spiritually, in dryness so great that I cannot produce a single good thought, I recite very slowly a Pater or an Ave Maria; these prayers alone console me; they suffice, they nourish my soul.

St. Therese

I created another honoring St. Therese. I was inspired by roses, which I added several beautiful purple polymer clay. St. Therese is a beautiful and unique figural medal on center. I also added several other Catholic medals including a figural medal of Virgin Mary with Baby Jesus.

I also added a beautiful cameo of Our Blessed Mother with Baby Jesus. The combination of colors include, purple and lavender.

With this bracelet I wanted to make honor to Our Beautiful Blessed Mother Our Lady of Victory. I added a beautiful figural medal of Our Lady with Baby Jesus, I just love this medal, I can just look at it and it brings me joy and peace.

I feel so blessed to be able to create one of my pieces of jewelry in honor of Our Blessed Mother and any of my creations. After I finish one it just fills me of so much joy to be able to convey a message of faith through my art.

When I was getting ready to take the picture of the bracelet, for some reason the picture of Our Lady of Fatima was just standing out more than usual so I decided to take the picture and on the first shot I was able to capture the essence of the bracelet. I could feel so much love and that is what I want to convey with this bracelet Our Lady's Love for us.

I am always amazed how fast St. Anthony brings aid to your petitions, any lost articles, he has helped me in many occasions, finding items I have lost, even packages mailed that were delivered to the wrong address, I know he is very busy with major petitions, but I know he also loves aiding in such requests as well.

I felt nostalgic the day I created this bracelet, I wanted to create a piece that looked and felt reminiscent of old times that had been previously loved.

That is why I used mostly previously worn and loved medals and older chain and findings.

Every time I create a bracelet honoring St. Jude I always keep in mind my first experience I had with St. Jude, actually being able to see him it's like being in the moment I experienced that wonderful visitation of St. Jude and want to convey that peace he radiated.

It was over four years ago, when I began making my jewelry, I didn't know what to make with the medals or relics after my dream that I was given medals and relics to work with and use them and his was the first visit of Saints I received and this vision was not a dream, I was awake.

I was able to see his outline of an older large built tall man wearing a grey cloak with a very powerful presence and with a very kind, polite and soft spoken voice he introduced himself saying I am St. Jude and with great honor make my presence known and he also stated I could use his medal to make a bracelet in his honor for people to always carry with them and that was my first charm Saints bracelet I made and I'm so happy and proud to be able to continue making them and sharing my experience with St. Jude.

St. Therese Relic, Saints Medals Religious Bracelet

Without love, deeds, even the most brilliant, count as nothing, St. Therese

St. Therese has given me more love for doing what I do in life, to learn to appreciate the smallest things in life and also that we are God's hands, God's feet, God's eyes in this earth, like she stated in one of her prayers and when I get tired and weary, I often think of one of her quotes specially being those hands, feet and eyes for God that motivates me.

I wanted to convey that love in this bracelet featuring a beautiful unique figural medal of St. Therese

I added a stunning vintage amethyst color pendant that was a vintage earring that I converted. I just love vintage jewelry, it has so much appeal.

Love, Compassion and Forgiveness

On October 28, 2010 　I had a dream that topped all of my dreams of Jesus, it was like He was and He wasn't I know sounds confusing, but in my dream I found myself in an ancient time where the streets were of dirt and the homes made what appeared to be clay, it may of been the way to Calvary I could see people on the side of the street, most cheering and some crying and I could hear the screaming and when I got closer I could see this very tall and slender man carrying a cross and at times I didn't see the cross, but I know it was Jesus, he was very tall like almost 7 feet and very slender and what I saw when He got closer I could never forget, He was so full of blood and His body full of wounds, so horrible the wounds, like He had been dragged and the skin peeling off the bones, they were cuts that you can actually see part of the bones and something gushing out of some wounds besides the blood, maybe the muscle tissue hanging out and He just kept walking with so much difficulty and pain.

I was horrified but at the same time I wanted to comfort Him and did not turn of disgust like I would of if I would actually see someone else because I cannot see blood nor cuts I turn away right away but not in my dream.　 It was painful to see Him that way and I felt helpless.　

When I woke up I felt so much sadness and I could feel much more Love for Him that is indescribable just to have seen that image. We see pictures but it does not describe the actual abuse He suffered until I saw Him in my dream.　I think He felt I was ready to see His wounds now because I don't think I was ready emotionally before and now, like I mentioned before, the Love I feel is so immense, much more than before because in my dream as He passed by me with all those horrible wounds I could just feel so much love from Him, compassion a sense of forgiveness for the people doing this to Him and it just hurt me to see all those people making fun of Him and it just hurts me now that people still don't believe and still make fun of Him today.

I think we need to re-evaluate ourselves as how much do we really love Our Lord? Was His torment and death in vein? Why does the world not comprehend His Love that we are killing each other? Don't we want to join Him in Heaven with Our Beautiful Blessed Mother when it's time for us to depart from this world?

I truly wish that I was able to really convey His love, compassion and forgiveness, not so much by words but by spirit.

Now when I create a piece in His honor I want to convey that true love, compassion and forgiveness I felt that night in my dream.

It is very fulfilling for me to finish a piece of jewelry in honor of Our Blessed Mother and all the Divine, but these special necklaces are beyond words for me.

When I get the inspiration to create one, I have no idea what I will ad and once I attach the cameo to the lace it seems like everything else just keeps coming to life wanting to be in a piece of this style and the end result is just amazing for me always.

To this piece I added vintage jewelry pieces, many vintage and new pearls and some beautiful rhinestones making it a hefty piece.
