Our Lady of the Pillar, Saints Religious Medal Bracelet

OUR LADY OF THE PILLAR

Tradition says that in the early day of the Church, Saint James the Greater was spreading the Gospel in Spain, but making very little progress. He was dejected and questioning his mission. About 44, the Virgin Mary, who was still living in Jerusalem at the time, bi-located and appeared to him in a vision to boost his morale. In it, she was atop a column or pillar, which was being carried by angels. That pillar is believed to be the same one venerated in Zaragoza, Spain today. Miraculous healings reported at the scene.

This is an extra special bracelet I created because my mother's name was Pilar and it has a special memory to my mother and Our Lady of the Pillar.

I was able to find this very unique and beautiful figural medal of Our Lady of Pillar which I used on this bracelet. I love the feel and appearance because of the detail involved in this peace. Really stands out.

I used many colorful lampwork beads to make it stand out more and make it very colorful.

This is a close up of the detail of the medal
