St. Lazarus, Saints Religious Medals Charm Bracelet

Patronage: Against Leprosy and also is petitioned for serious illness and the poor

It has been a while since I had not created a bracelet honoring St. Lazarus. I used a beautiful
vintage Italian pearlized medal of St. Lazarus. Other catholic medals I used are Divine Child, St. Francis of Assisi, Mother Therese, Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Divine Mercy, St. Faustina

St. Lazarus, Patron Saints Religious Medals Bracelet

Leper mentioned by Christ in the parable of Lazarus and the rich man in the Gospel of Luke 16:19-31
There was a rich man who dressed in purple garments and fine linen and dined sumptuously each day. And lying at his door was a poor man named Lazarus, covered with sores, who would gladly have eaten his fill of the scraps that fell from the rich man's table. Dogs even used to come and lick his sores

Against Leprosy and also is petitioned for serious illness

I found this stunning vintage mother of pearl medal of St. Lazarus, which is very rare and I just had the inspiration today to make one in his honor.

I added handcrafted Bali glass beads and mother of pearl beads.

Other Catholic medals include a figural medal of Virgin Mary with Baby Jesus, St. Jude, Our Lady of Miraculous Medal, St. Padre Pio, Sacred Heart of Jesus and others.
This combination just came together as it each piece was meant to be.

St. Lazarus Catholic Medals Charm Bracelet

Lazarus is the poor man at the gate of the rich man in Christ's parable related in Luke. (Luke 16:19-31)
The Order of Saint Lazarus was founded in the 12th Century to provide nursing for lepers, taking Lazarus as its patron. The knights of the order were lepers, and besides helping their fellow sufferers, they carried out military duties. They founded a hospital for lepers near the northern wall of Jerusalem.
I created this bracelet in honor of St. Lazarus. This brings back a lot of memories of growing up with St. Lazarus image. My mother was devout to St. Lazarus and and therefore he is very close to my heart.
I added a beautiful vintage mother of pearl medal, made in West Germany, of St. Lazarus. I added color italian Catholic medals of Miraculous Medal, St. Padre Pio, Divine Mercy, Sacred Heart of Jesus, Immaculate Heart of Mary. I surrounded them with beautiful golden, magenta nd rose glass pearls.
