St. Francis of Assisi Relic Charm Bracelet

St. Francis of Assisi, lover of all creation, champion of justice, Patron Saint of animals and the environment, founded the Franciscan Order.
St. Francis of Assisi experienced all of God's creation as sacred. He saw God in "Brother Sun" and "Sister Moon." He preached to the birds and animals.

Father Francis and his companions were making a trip through the Spoleto Valley near the town of Bevagna. Suddenly, Francis spotted a great number of birds of all varieties. There were doves, crows and all sorts of birds. Swept up in the moment, Francis left his friends in the road and ran after the birds, who patiently waited for him. He greeted them in his usual way, expecting them to scurry off into the air as he spoke. But they moved not.
Filled with awe, he asked them if they would stay awhile and listen to the Word of God. He said to them: “My brother and sister birds, you should praise your Creator and always love him: He gave you feathers for clothes, wings to fly and all other things that you need. It is God who made you noble among all creatures, making your home in thin, pure air. Without sowing or reaping, you receive God’s guidance and protection.”
At this the birds began to spread their wings, stretch their necks and gaze at Francis, rejoicing and praising God in a wonderful way according to their nature. Francis then walked right through the middle of them, turned around and came back, touching their heads and bodies with his tunic.
Then he gave them his blessing, making the sign of the cross over them. At that they flew off and Francis, rejoicing and giving thanks to God, went on his way.

St. Peregrine Relic Charm Bracelet

ST. PEREGRINE
He received a vision of Our Lady who told him to go to Siena, Italy, and there to join the Servites. After training and ordination, they assigned him to his home town. He lived and worked, as much as possible, in complete silence, in solitude, and without sitting down for 30 years in an attempt to do penance for his early life. When he did speak, he was known as a fervant preacher, excellent orator, and gentle confessor. Founded a Servite house at Forli. A victim of a spreading cancer in his foot, Peregrine was scheduled for an amputation. The night before the operation, he spent in prayer; that night received a vision of Christ who healed him with a touch. The next morning, Peregrine found his cancer completely healed.

Prayer to Saint PeregrineFor so many years you bore in your own flesh this cancerous disease that destroys the very fibre of our being, and who had recourse to the source of all grace when the power of man could do no more. You were favoured with the vision of Jesus coming down from His Cross to heal your affliction. Ask of God and Our Lady, the cure of the sick whom we entrust to you. (Pause here and silently recall the names of the sick for whom you are praying)
O great St. Peregrine, you have been called "The Mighty," "The Wonder-Worker," because of the numerous miracles which you have obtained from God for those who have had recourse to you.

I created this bracelet in honor to St. Peregrine, a wonderful intercesor for patients of cancer. I surrounded this bracelet with other Catholic Medals as reminder that Our Lord, Our Blessed Mother and Saints are always with us no matter what you are going thru and always keep your faith. I also added some feminine charms also as a reminder of that beautiful person.

St. Jude Charm Bracelet

Help me remain close to Christ and resemble Him in my outlook and actions. Holy Apostle, you are venerated for your work of preaching the gospel and your faithfulness to Christ by a martyr's death. Assist me to preach the good news of Christ by word and example, and remain steadfast in His service as you were. From your place of glory, do not forget the needs and difficulties of Christ's little ones like me, still struggling on the way home to God. Pray for me that I may receive the consolation and help of heaven in my necessities, tribulations and sufferings, particularly (name special problem) and that I may praise God with you and all the elect forever. This is a very special bracelet that I created in honor to St. Jude using a very unique relic medal and also as unique a cross with a 3D glass in center that you can see an image of Our Lady of Guadalupe inside- it is an amazing cross. Vintage & New Milagros Charm Bracelet

MILAGROS
Milagros "Miracles" are small devotional charms that are traditionally used in most Latin American Countries. These votives are placed in small shrines, church, nichos, retablos, saints or altars.
Milagros also refers to an ancient aspect of Hispanic Folk Culture: Small silver or gold votive offerings.
A person attaches a Milagro to a saint for a special request of a miracle for a particular aliment of the body.

I created this unique bracelet using a beautiful copper with patina finish heart Milagro, which represents Sacred Heart of Jesus, made in Peru. I added smaller milagros from breasts, representing healing for breast cancer, I added a leg, children, cat, sheep, bull, corn & eyes. I added chalk turquoise and Peruvian colorful beads to give it a folklore look and feel to it all in a vintage copper chain.

I created this bracelet making honor to Our Blessed Mother and 7 Archangels including St. Michael, St. Raphael, St. Gabriel, Uriel, Samuel, Zadquiel and Jophiel. I added amber to represent their radiance and natural Jasper to represent their strenght.

I found this beautiful vintage cameo of Virgin Mary with Baby Jesus "Madonna of the Magnificat" replica from the famous painter Boticcelli from the early Renaissance.

Our Lady of Guadalupe Relic Medal Charm Bracelet

In 1531 a "Lady from Heaven" appeared to a poor Indian at Tepeyac, a hill northwest of Mexico City; she identified herself as the Mother of the True God, instructed him to have the bishop build a temple on the site and left an image of herself imprinted miraculously on his tilma, a poor quality cactus-cloth, which should have deteriorated in 20 years but shows no sign of decay 474 years later and still defies all scientific explanations of its origin.
God of power and mercy, you blessed the Americas at Tepeyac with the presence of the Virgin Mary of Guadalupe. May her prayers help all men and women to accept each other as brothers and sisters. I was so inspired to create this charm bracelet honoring Our Most Humble Lady of Guadalupe by adding a relic medal and a color medal. I used vintage copper chain and other vintage Catholic medals embraced by turquoise color howlite stone, purple and green jade gemstones.

Our Lady of Lourdes Water Medal Charm Bracelet

Our Lady of Lourdes: France, 1858
Our Lady appeared to 14 year old Bernadette Soubirous in Lourdes, France, 18 times from February through July, 1858. During the apparitions she told Bernadette to dig a hole which later in the day produced a stream of water, bringing about thousands of spiritual and physical cures even to this day. Mary pleaded for "penitence! Penitence! Penitence!" and urged us to "Pray to God for sinners". She called herself the "Immaculate Conception".

I created this bracelet with a water medal from Lourdes. I embraced the medal with pink glass pearls and light pink, color enhanced, quartz. I chose the color pink to be a reminder of Our Lady being surrounded by pink roses, which I included a beautiful glass lampwork rose to hold water medal. I also added other Catholic medals which include Our Lady of Medjugorje, St. Jude, Infant Jesus, Infant of Prague.

Holy Relic Charm Bracelet

The Holy Shroud of Oviedo
The Sudarium is referred to in John 20:5-8.
The Sudarium of Oviedo, or Shroud of Oviedo, is a bloodstained cloth, 34" x 21", kept in the cathedral of Oviedo, Spain and claimed to be the cloth that was wrapped around the head of Jesus of Nazareth after he died.

I created this bracelet with a very special kind of relic that I feel blessed I was able to find. I added a relic touched to the Shroud of Oviedo. I added natural ruby quartz to represent Our Lord's Precious Blood. I also added a one decade rosary with a St. Benedict crucifix. Other medals include St. Agnes, Our Lady of Olives and others.

"Rainforest" Animals Bracelet

I was so inspired to create a bracelet with one of God's creations which are the forest animals that live in the rainforest and other forests "Heaven on Earth".

I used handmade 3D lampwork beads with lizzard, frogs, I also used some beautiful glass lampwork toucan beads and many other beads including glass lampwork flowers and wooden beads.

Miraculous Medal Charm Bracelet

"The Blessed Virgin was standing on a globe, and her face was beautiful beyond words. Her fingers were covered with precious jewels whose light dazzled me. And I heard: 'Behold the symbol of the graces I shed upon those who ask for them!' Then an oval frame formed around the Blessed Virgin and I read in letters of gold: 'O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee.' The vision reversed and I beheld the letter 'M' surmounted by a cross, at the foot of the cross, a bar, and below all, the Heart of Jesus crowned with thorns, and the Heart of Mary pierced with a sword. A voice said to me, 'Have a medal struck after this model. Persons who wear it will receive great graces, especially if they wear it around the neck.' "Sister (now Saint) Catherine Labour".

I was inspired to create this bracelet in honor to Our Beautiful Lady of Miraculous Medal using a beautiful vintage mother of pearl medal surrounding it with white glass pearls and natural moonstone with shimmery aurora borealis colors to represent white clouds as if Our Lady would be standing in the clouds.

I created this bracelet in an eclectic style with various beads, vintage and new charms and medals. I created it with a beautiful Virgin Mary resin cameo on center and adding an angel cameo as well and a beautigful vintage medal of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, made in Germany. Heart charms are also vintage. I truly love how it came out enhancing the main cameo of Our Blessed Mother.

Virgin Mary- Our Lady of Mt. Carmel

Feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, or of the Scapular

July 16 The Church celebrates on this day the feast of the Scapular of Mount Carmel. The scapular, which derives its name from the Latin word scapulæ, meaning shoulders, is a dress which covers the shoulders. It is mentioned in the rule of Saint Benedict as worn by monks over their other dress when they were at work, and it now forms a regular part of the religious dress in the old Orders. But it is best known among Catholics as the name of two little pieces of cloth worn out of devotion to the Blessed Virgin over the shoulders, under the ordinary garb, and connected by strings. The devotion of the scapular, now almost universal in the Catholic Church, began with the Carmelites. The history of its origin is as follows: During the thirteenth century the Carmelite Order suffered great persecution, and July 16, 1251, while Saint Simon Stock, then general of the Order, was at prayer, the Blessed Virgin appeared to him, holding in her hand a scapular. Giving it to the saint, she said,
"Receive, my dear son, this scapular of thy Order, as the distinctive sign of my confraternity, and the mark of the privilege which I have obtained for thee and the children of Carmel. It is a sign of salvation, a safeguard in danger, and a special pledge of peace and protection till the end of time. Whosoever dies wearing this shall be preserved from eternal flames."

I was inspired to create this bracelet accenting the antique-style porcelain cameo and adding golden glass pearls, amber color glass beads and beautiful lampwork beads. I also added vintage medals made in Germany.
