Our Lady of Lujan Charm Bracelet

OUR LADY OF LUJAN

It was made in Brazil and sent to Argentina in May 1630. Its original appearance seemed inspired by Murillo's Immaculates. In 1887, to preserve and protect it, the image was given a solid silver covering. It is usually clothed with a white robe and sky blue cloak, the colors of the Argentinian flag. Only the dark oval face with big blue eyes and the hands folded in prayer are now visible.

I was blessed to find this vintage medal of Our Lady of Lujan. The medal itself is from Argentina. I surrounded this beautiful medal with many other Catholic medals including Holy Trinity, Our Lady of Fatima, Our Lady of Guadalupe with Holy Child of Atocha and others including an ornate crucifix.

Our Lady San Juan De Los Lagos Bracelet

OUR LADY OF SAN JUAN DE LOS LAGOS
Our Lady of San Juan De Los Lagos is the second most venerated Virgin in Latin America next to Our Lady of Guadalupe.
The story of the Virgin of San Juan begins in 1542, when the Spanish priest, Father Miguel de Bologna, brought an image of the Virgin of the Immaculate Conception to the village. Some years later—in 1623—the legend recounts that the daughter of Indian parents fell gravely ill, and her death was imminent. However, after the parents earnestly prayed to the Virgin, their daughter was saved.
One story related to this wonderful image is that the image began to deteriorate and it was taken down from the Church’s Altar and placed away in storage, the next day they would find the image back in the main altar and under mysterious circumstances, the image was restored by an anonymous artisan, which the people believed was an angel sent from heaven to restore the image

This is such a sweet beautiful bracelet. I felt the inspiration in creating it with flowers, like making a flower garland for Our Blessed Mother. I used a beautiful vintage Mother of Pearl medal of Our Lady of San Juan, made in Germany. I also added more vintage Catholic medals, all surrounded by beautiful glass lampwork beads, flowers and lucite and glass leaves. I love the outcome of this bracelet with this color combination.

St. Peregrine Relic Charm Bracelet

ST. PEREGRINE
He received a vision of Our Lady who told him to go to Siena, Italy, and there to join the Servites. After training and ordination, they assigned him to his home town. He lived and worked, as much as possible, in complete silence, in solitude, and without sitting down for 30 years in an attempt to do penance for his early life. When he did speak, he was known as a fervent preacher, excellent orator, and gentle confessor. Founded a Servite house at Forli. A victim of a spreading cancer in his foot, Peregrine was scheduled for an amputation. The night before the operation, he spent in prayer; that night received a vision of Christ who healed him with a touch. The next morning, Peregrine found his cancer completely healed.

Prayer to Saint Peregrine For so many years you bore in your own flesh this cancerous disease that destroys the very fiber of our being, and who had recourse to the source of all grace when the power of man could do no more. You were favoured with the vision of Jesus coming down from His Cross to heal your affliction. Ask of God and Our Lady, the cure of the sick whom we entrust to you. (Pause here and silently recall the names of the sick for whom you are praying)
O great St. Peregrine, you have been called "The Mighty," "The Wonder-Worker," because of the numerous miracles which you have obtained from God for those who have had recourse to you.

This is a special bracelet I like to create to honor St. Peregrine. When I create a bracelet in his honor, I like to add feminine charms because I know that for a woman it is very important to keep feeling feminine and beautiful, how important it is to continue dressing up and keep uplifted all the time.

Cancer touched my life when my mother was diagnosed with cancer and five years later my sister-in-law and I know how important it was for them to continue wanting to dress up and try to look their best, that is the reason I add those charms besides all the Catholic medals as a reminder that Our Lord, Our Blessed Mother and all Our Saints are with us all the time and St. Peregrine as a great intercessor for those suffering from that terrible illness.

St. Padre Pio Charm Bracelet

FATHER PIO ( visible sign in his body of Christ Passion)
In September 1918, while praying before a cross, he received the stigmata and the first priest ever to be so blessed.

III. O my Jesus, You have said: "Truly I say to you, heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away". Encouraged by your infallible words I now ask for the grace of...Our Father... Hail Mary... Glory be to the Father...Sacred Heart of Jesus, I place all my trust in you.
O Sacred Heart of Jesus, for whom it is impossible not to have compassion on the afflicted, have pity on us miserable sinners and grant us the grace which we ask of You, through the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary, Your tender Mother and ours.

I truly am inspired by St. Padre Pio. I think he was a remarkable man with a lot of spiritual gifts and I know he is also a great intercessor. My experiences with St. Padre Pio began right after I started making my charm bracelets. I can feel his presence when I get the scent of Sandalwood around me or the room I'm in, it's just so overwhelming, but yet so soothing, it's so uplifting and feel so bless that I can be able to know it is him and that scent is indescribable.

That is why when I create a bracelet in his honor, I create it with the utmost respect, like all others, but with his, I know it's meant for someone special and in need of his intercession.

I created this bracelet with a special relic medal of St. Pio, other Catholic medals used are: Color medal of Our Lady of Guadalupe, St. Benedict, another great intercessor against evil, Miraculous Medal, so loving and peaceful, Stations Medal, St. Michael, Sacred Heart of Jesus, Archangel St. Gabriel, Catacombs Relic Crucifix and others. I also used gorgeous black glass lampwork beads with colorful shimmer, turquoise color howlite and glass beads and coral beads.

Virgin Mary Altered Art Charm Bracelet

I created this bracelet with the inspiration of a shrine to Our Blessed Mother including some vintage treasures to be able to carry with you all the time.

I used a goldtone pocket watch case and added a vintage figural medal of Virgin Mary as a child, a vintage ornate medal of Our Lady of Miraculous medal, a tiny cross, vintage pearls and crystals.

I also added other vintage Catholic medals, Virgin Mary, Miraculous Medal, St. Christopher, Sacred Heart cameo, all attached to a wide vintage chain.

Our Lady of Perpetual Help

Our Lady of Perpetual Succour
(Or OUR LADY OF PERPETUAL HELP.)
It represents the Mother of God holding the Divine Child while the Archangels Michael and Gabriel present before Him the instruments of His Passion. Over the figures in the picture are some Greek letters which form the abbreviated words Mother of God, Jesus Christ, Archangel Michael, and Archangel Gabriel respectively. It was brought to Rome towards the end of the fifteenth century by a pious merchant, who, dying there, ordered by his will that the picture should be exposed in a church for public veneration. It was exposed in the church of San Matteo, Via Merulana, between St. Mary Major and St. John Lateran. Crowds flocked to this church, and for nearly three hundred years many graces were obtained through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin. The picture was then popularly called the Madonna di San Matteo. The church was served for a time by the Hermits of St. Augustine, who had sheltered their Irish brethren in their distress. These Augustinians were still in charge when the French invaded Rome (1812) and destroyed the church. The picture disappeared; it remained hidden and neglected for over forty years, but a series of providential circumstances between 1863 and 1865 led to its discovery in an oratory of the Augustinian Fathers at Santa Maria in Posterula. *Catholic Encyclopedia

PRAYER TO OUR LADY OF PERPETUAL HELP
O Mother of Perpetual Help, grant that I may ever invoke thy most powerful name, which is the safeguard of the living and the salvation of the dying. O Purest Mary, O Sweetest Mary, let thy name henceforth be ever on my lips. Delay not, O Blessed Lady, to help me whenever I call on thee, for, in all my needs, in all my temptations I shall never cease to call on thee, ever repeating thy sacred name, Mary, Mary.

This is one of my favorite icons of Our Blessed Mother with Baby Jesus. I love her loving face and all the vibrant colors in this image. The same image is on this beautiful cameo I made the bracelet with, set in brass ornate setting. I added handcrafted angels made with such beautiful coral beads. I found these coral beads at the gem show I attended on September of this year.

It is color enhanced on brown and it's just perfect for this bracelet. I also added beautiful blue Czech. Glass beads, gorgeous handmade lampwork beads with flowers and some with goldfoil.

I added some vintage and new medals which include Infant of Prague, Miraculous Medal, St. Anthony and St. Christopher.

I can't even begin to explain how everything just came together on this bracelet, how the colors just were calling out and the beads and I was just overwhelmed when I finished it. It's just perfect colors and beads to look a lot like the cameo. When I create a bracelet I don't plan on the colors I will use, I just pick the ones that stand out the most and it's unbelievable how this came so much like the cameo.

St. Francis Xavier Charm Bracelet

A man of remarkable energy and organizational ability, Xavier ranks among the greatest missionaries of all times. Canonized in 1622. The list of his principal miracles may be found in the Bull of canonization. He was declared patron of the Orient in 1748, patron of the Faith in 1904, and with the French nun St. Teresa of Lisieux, patron of all missions in 1927. He is also the patron saint of sailors. His feast day is December 3.

I created this bracelet using a unique souvenir medal of St. Francis Xavier and other Catholic medals used are: St. Ignatius, St. Joan of Arc, St. Jude, St. Frances Cabrini. St. Vincent de Paul, St. Therese enhacing these medals with beautiful teal color glass lampwork beads and wedding cake beads.
